DIY Bow Back Tee

DIY Bow Back Tee
Hey guys so im really sorry its been a while since we've posted a tip but i hope you like this one!

What you’ll need:

1. Scissors

2. Liquid stitch (I'm sure a hot glue gun would work too)

3. A rotary cutter (or just use the scissors)

4. A piece of cardboard

5. A shirt you are willing to cut

Step 1: Using your scissors, cut the bottom hem off of your shirt (you’ll need the material later)

Step 2: With the cardboard inside of the shirt, cut slits in the fabric with the rotary cutter or scissors. It doesn’t matter how far apart you make your cuts, as long as they are evenly spaced. you could use the hem of the shirt to help guide the cuts so they were all the same width.

Step 3: Using the extra material, cut 2-3 inch long strips (make sure to cut off the thread).

Step 4: Pinch the fabric in the middle, creating the “bow” shape.

Step 5: Wrap one of your fabric strips around the area that you pinched, and apply the liquid stitch or hot glue. Make sure that the glued section ends up in the back, so you have a smooth looking bow on the outside.

Step 6: Once glued, your bow should now look like the pic above :)

Step 7: Repeat steps 4-5 for all of the other bows until you reach the bottom.

Step 8 (optional): If you want, you can also add another bow on the very top. First, cut off the edge of the hem around the neck with a pair of scissors. Cut however much you want off, depending on how deep you want your shirt to go in the front and back. Repeat steps 4-5 for the bow and voila! This wasn't done to the one in the pic but you could try it!

And there you have it! I love this DIY because it’s quite simple to do (seeing as there’s no sewing involved), and it ends up looking adorable! JUST BE CAREFUL IF YOU USE A ROTARY CUTTER! put something STURDY underneath your shirt so that it doesnt cut through to the front of the shirt!

Hope you enjoyed! Please comment below with any wuestions, comments, or pics of how your shirt turned out!

Valentines Day! ♥

Valentines Day! ♥
Hey all you lovely people, Vanessa here.

So Valentines Day is coming up and I've decided that I should make a little guide on how to enjoy this lovely holiday!

First things first, just because you don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend to celebrate this holiday with it doesn't mean you need to not celebrate it at all. It's the day of love! It doesn't instantly mean its only about relationships :)

Turn to friends if you have no one to celebrate this day with. You love them, don't you? ;D

Dress up! Wear pink or red on February 14th, or something with hearts. ;)

And for the fun of it, do the Valentines Day dare! Go up to fourteen random people (or more!) and tell them you love them. Lets see how they'll react ;)

Or another dare which takes a lot of guts to do -- go up to the boy/girl you fancy and ask them if you can be their valentine! Of course, if they don't have one already.

Romantic movies! Have a romance movie marathon with the special someone or your closest pals :)

Love music, oooooooooh. Get in the mood by starting off your day listening to your favorite love-related song!

Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate! What's possibly better than eating these sweet goodies on a day like this?

And if you're feeling a extra hint of love with a sprinkle of daredevil, kiss someone! Anyone, as long as you know them personally and you guys have some sort of bond between each other. Please DON'T kiss a stranger.

Give a anonymous love note to the guy/girl that caught your eye ;) They'll be curious trying to find out who its from!

And if you're old enough, have a little fun with the boyfriend/girlfriend. If you know what I mean...

And most of all, just spend this day with love from the bottom of your heart. Just have fun with this day, and if you don't celebrate this holiday well... still have fun! :)

I hope this will help you with having a great Valentines Day, I did have to kind of rush this due to having to do some things around the house but atleast I spent some of the time doing this for all you guys!

I love each and every one of you, and have a lovely and romanticy Valentines Day!

Xoxo, Vanessa♥

Hey there it's @jessipontillasxx !(:

I absolutely love this laid-back Vanessa look! Pair a tribal print sweater with a pair of high waisted shorts. Add some dark brown knee high shorts and a fringe purse. A thin headband should finish it off.

Have fun, fashionistas!

Hey everybody!!! :)

so these look REALLY awesome and sparkly!

and i mean...who doesn't love glitter!?!!?

CRAZY PEOPLE!!!

so anyways...let's get started!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

*reusable starbucks tumbler*

*spray gloss*
*loose glitter*

*cardstock*

STEPS:

1) Remove the inner layer of the tumbler (you don't need it until the very end!)

2) Spray a coat of spray gloss into the outer layer
3) Add a medium amount of loose glitter

4) Place a piece of cardstock over the outer layer of the cup, like a lid and shake, shake, shake!!!
****DO STEPS 2-4 REALLY FAST*****

5) Repeat steps 2-4 until you are happy with the amount of glitter

6) Spray another of spray gloss onto the layer to seal.

7) Place the inner layer out of the outer layer. If it doesn’t fit gently rub some glitter off until it does. If you get glitter on the inside layer it’s not a big deal, you will only be removing it to wash it.

Hope you Enjoy!!!
